Christmas Pop-Up Event - Romania vs. Spain Wine Tasting in partnership with Budbreak + Brix
Romanian wines are not that well known despite Romania being the 6th largest producer in Europe. Spanish wine on the other hand are quite famous and yet, so much still to discover! We would love to introduce you to the fascinating grape universe of the two countries in a special tasting event co-hosted with our friends from Budbreak + Brix in their winter Pop-Up in Kreuzberg, Berlin.
We will be surfing together through 10 different wines served 2 at a time (Romanian vs. Spanish), comparing and contrasting local grape varieties, but also how the same variety behaves in these completely different geographic areas. Stars of the evening? Gramona Winery from Spain and Prince Stirbey Winery from Romania.
What is included in the price:
- 2.5 hours wine tasting experience guided by Ramona (Pointer) and Cana (Budbreak + Brix)
- 5 wines from Romanian wine producer Prince Stirbey, 3 of them made from Romanian local grape varieties)
- 3 wines from world-known Catalonian producer Gramona, 1 wine from Toledo and 1 from Costers del Segre
- tapas: cheese + fruit + olives + crackers

Public tasting: If you, unfortunately, cannot make it, tickets are fully refundable up to 48 hours prior to the event, or we can reschedule you to one of our future sessions up until 24 hours before the event. Please reach out to us
Private tasting: Once booked, this type of event cannot be canceled, but we can definitely reschedule it at your convenience. Please contact us to discuss options.
